I dont have much time to write a good post cause I have a date ;) and I hate french board buaghh but I wanted to say that everything is fine: I have my luggage, my apart is great, love the district and today the sun was shining for me in Paris, nice eh! and.. I live in the same street of the Folies Bergere!!! I took the picture this morning, someone wanna come to see Cabaret?
Definitely my expectations are changing.. just happy I guess :)

time has come

You never think they D-day is going to arrive, till.. it arrives. No much else to say about it, just farewells and calls saying goodbye. Thanks to all of you, cause I got presents when it was not my birthday and once again I felt I was surronded by amazing people (yeah, thats a call for a comment... ;) In a couple of hours this blog will finally have a sense, so keep reading...

what we know...

For most of us what we know about a place comes from the cinema. So my first click went to the Internet Movie Database to see what they had to say about Paris. To my surprise that's the result:
  • Titles (exact matches) 13 results
  • Titles (partial matches) 797 results
  • Titles (approx matches) 190 results

Guess that there is a lot to say about the city hahaha

My intention is to put aside all the topics, which won't be easy. For instance. This year I will spend more than Two Days in Paris, so for sure I will discover in depth not only the city in itself, but also Paris la nuit (no need to translate that!) My trip is going to be the opposite to the Paris - Tombuctu, but who says there is not a Tombuctu waiting for me in Paris!

Lets say that this time I will dance my first tango in Paris, but hopefully not the last, that I will discover what there is Under the Roofs of Paris and that I will try, again, literally, a French Kiss.

Perhaps the title of this blog should have been A Spaniard in Paris or Paris Blues, but it really doesn't matter cause what is sure is that we won't Forget Paris anytime soon. As one of my favourite characters once said... we will always have Paris... Today I know that after a while I will for sure say: Paris Je t'aime

welcome to Paris

Two weeks left before it happens. Finally I'm moving to the next stage: working in the Spain's Trade Commission for one year.
After the initial dissapointment, Paris is not the exotic and far destiny I had dreamt of, guess that for most of you it was the best piece of news you could get. Thanks for that, it is always nice to hear that people want you around. Anyway, and it is not a threat, I would suggest you to come and visit me soon as we never know which will be the next step ;)
Just for the record, I will try to write in English most of my posts so that everyone could read them. But let me say that from time to time I will need to write in Spanish. If you feel curious about the story, just give me a call!
